One month

On Amara's one-month birthday, she met her Nanny!

March 20th

We tried again on the family self-portrait and did a little better this time.

And Dada caught Mama reading a book to her girls.

March 18th

I'm still taking a lot of pictures, but I never seem to get around to uploading them anymore. These are all from March 18th.

Amara-Bee is a really good sport about all my fancy photography.


On the same day, we all went to Quiet Waters Park. Kiran really, really likes to push Amara's stroller...without any help ("Ah-STOP! Ah-STOP!"). Poor Amara...

We tried a family (self) portrait, but weren't terribly successful...though we did learn that the way to go is to let Kiran wield the remote control.

Here is Kiran looking beautiful by the water...

Expressive

We think Amara is a very expressive baby. Here are some cute faces, taken just before her 2-week birthday.

First, "The Amara-Bee." This isn't - quite - it, but it's as close as I've been able to capture.

Next, the gassy smile.

And, some bubble blowing.

Sisters.

It's hard to capture just how excited Kiran is to be a big sister, and just how wonderful she is at it. But these maybe come close.

A cool treat on an unseasonably warm day. My favorite is definitely the one where she's trying to share her ice cream cone with me. Or maybe the one where she's chugging the ice cream out of the cone. Or the one where she's making the "just one" face. Alright, I can't pick a favorite.

Valentine's Day Cards

Kiran making Valentine's Day cards. When Richard came in the room, he said she looked like a homicide suspect!

P'akes!

Kiran helped her Dada make pancakes ("p'akes!" according to her) this morning, and then proceeded to eat FOUR AND A HALF of them. Which is more than her pregnant mother ate.

First Haircut!

We took Kiran for her first haircut today!
