As a kid, I took years and years and years of art lessons (thanks Mom and Dad!). As an adult, I am making the time to indulge my favorite hobby now that I have kids of my own. There is nothing better than getting messy with paint!
Look at Amara's concentration. Who says toddlers have no attention span? Art brings out the best in little kids.
Two little girls working very intently.
A double-brush technique.
The shear joy of getting your masterpiece to turn out exactly the way you intended.
"No, I have not been eating the yellow paint, Mama."
"That's not yelllow paint on my tongue. I promise."
"Um, okay, maybe I ate a little yellow paint."
Anticipation.
More hard work. I think she gets it from her Dada.
Three-brush technique. Very impressive. It takes most artists years to master this.
"Alright, I admit it. Paint is yummy."
Mama's art project. What? I own the fence -- I'm allowed.
